The Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) Maharashtra seems to have tightened its noose around the neck of the Hindutva extremist organisations like Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Sanatan Sanstha (SS) for their alleged role into the Thane bomb blasts.

CRIMINAL COMPLAINT FILED AGAINST BAL THACKERAY
 
The Tamilnadu Muslim Makkal Katchi has formally lodged a complaint with the Commissioner of Police, Chennai against the Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray for inciting Hindus to form and activate “Hindu Suicide Squads” and thus take law into their own hands and create, thereby, communal tension and rupture, said the Katchi president S.M. Pasha in a statement on June 19.

GOVT. URGED TO BOOK MODI, THACKERAY UNDER TREASON ACT
 
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray should be arrested and booked under treason law, said renowned historian Amresh Mishra in a statement issued from Mumbai.
The historian said the victims of the 2002 pogrom in Gujarat are still to get justice. This is the violation of Articles 14, 15, 16, 19 and 20, he said. LALU FOR URDU SIGNBOARDS AT DELHI RAILWAY STATION
 
Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad has asked Delhi Railway Station officers to prepare all official signboards at the station in the Urdu language also. He issued orders to this effect during his unannounced visit to the station on June 22.
