“Hinduche phuske bomb; ka ijjat ghalawta?” and “sharmanak phisaddi bomb” were the titles of the inflammatory editorials of the Saamna, written by none other than the so-called ‘Hindu samrat’ Bala Saheb Thackeray. The vitriolic comments included, “instead of exploding ‘crackers’ in Gadkari, if they would have terrorised the mini-Pakistans then it could be characterised as work for saving the Hindu society”, “Hindu organisations must work for ‘karanti’... they must retort with explosives”, etc. These and other inflammatory remarks made by him are egregious and are truly exposing his pathological state of mind. He must be booked or at least forced to apologise for such incendiary remarks that tantamount to encouraging violence and terrorism. Secular and truly religious people of Maharashtra must take a vow to exterminate such pseudo-religious leaders from the political scene of Maharashtra in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
