Sadhvi Pragya Thakur is accused of September 29 Malegaon blasts. On tape, she utters the chilling words, ‘Why didn’t more people die?’ The alleged mastermind of the Malegaon blasts is a serving Lt. Colonel Shrikant Purohit. The Bhonsla Military Academy in Nasik trained as many as 54 men in military and bomb making technology in 2001.The Malegaon blast investigation is yielding astounding results; there have been 10 arrests so far.

Punish the Guilty
 
The withdrawal of the rape case by the mother of 14-year-old German victim is really unfortunate; indeed it underlines inept handling of the case by the police and also hints at the political interference. The episode is a big indelible mark on our system; even after the withdrawal of the case, the investigation agencies should continue the probe and bring the guilty to the book.

Our governments should step out with concrete plans to ensure that every Indian child studies the same syllabus, same book in each part of the country.
