Some anti-social and communal elements on March 16 allegedly attacked the Jamia Masjid in Bendur, Udupi. More than a century old Jamia Masjid is the hallmark of the area. According to the reports people allegedly belonging to Hindutva communal outfits such as RSS, Bajrang Dal, Shiv Sena etc are distributing CDs entitled ‘Banyengay Mandir’ in Nanded. ALL ACCUSE IN NANDED RIOTS GET BAIL

All of the accused arrested in connection with the recent Nanded riots have been released after a Mumbai Court granted them bail on March 17. The accused were reportedly produced before the local court of magistrate N B Ghosh who granted them bail on a personal bond of Rs 7,500 each.
