India’s first Islamic Bank is going to function in Kochi, Kerala by the next year with active involvement of the state government. SC GRANTS BAIL TO MAULANA NASEERUDDIN
 
The Supreme Court of India granted bail to Hyderabad-based Maulana Naseeruddin who had been languishing in Gujarat’s Sabarmati jail for the last six years on unproven charges. The bail appeal of Maulana Naseeruddin was pending in the Supreme Court for the last seven months. The death of Nagaraj Jambagi, the main accused in the Hubli court bomb blast and Singanahalli bomb-planting cases at KIMS hospital in Hubli, left several questions unanswered.
