A Great Tragedy

Readers Pulse

How daringly Mohan Kumar continued his criminal designs for five years. He not only raped 18 girls but also murdered them mercilessly. None could notice his criminal activities. He did not come across any sort of interruption in his criminal business. This situation clearly indicates that our society can easily accommodate such heinous criminals in its fold. This is indeed dangerous.
True justice is possible only when he is subjected to the trauma of death 18 times as he killed 18 girls. But this is not possible in this world. The media or the police has given the photos of the victims which may hurt the feeling of their parents and kins. But the culprit was given the opportunity to hide his face from the public gaze. It is the undue favour extended to the culprit. Another possibility is that he can use the ornaments which he had snatched from the girls to get minimum punishment.
I was shocked to see the crime, imagining the plight of the poor girls. We do not know how many Mohan Kumars are still hiding in society. The judiciary should subject the culprit to due punishment and ensure that such cases do not appear in society.
