Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) expressed deep condolences over the murder of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) student Shahnawaz Alam and expressed concern over the increasing unrest in the campus. SIO demanded that there must be a high level investigation of this murder with three months timeframe, and reopen the university with immediate effect.
