GETTING CASTE CERTIFICATE BECOMES EASIER

To curb corruption and allay the general perception that all officials are corrupt and un-willing to lend helping hand to masses, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Malegaon Ajay More inserted Urdu translation of the Marathi lines in the application forms for Caste and Domicile certificates, got them filled with the help of teachers and distributed them right in the school. The SDM is known for going the extra miles to reach out to the masses. Due to the rampant corruption and the difficulties, people especially the Muslim students are facing problems to get Caste, Domicile and Nationality certificates. He, in association with Citizens for Development and Peace (CDP), Malegaon worked on this idea. He decided to reach directly to the students through their schools instead of calling application forms for the all-important documents to his office.
