NANAVATI COMMISSION MAY SUMMON MODI
 
The Nanavati Commission probing the 2002 Gujarat riot cases has told the Gujarat High Court that its decision not to summon Chief Minister Narendra Modi was not final and may call him for questioning.The Commission was clarifying its position while responding to a poser by the High Court on March 22, that whether its decision not to summon the BJP leader for questioning was tentative or final. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Hyderabad is working on the conspiracy behind the communal violence which paralysed the city last week. Reports say that the SIT has found evidence of involvement of outsiders, from Karnataka and Maharashtra in the violence. POLICE SEIZE BOMBS FROM RSS WORKER'S TOMB
 
Kerala Police have seized three steel bombs from a tomb of a Rashtriya Swayam Sevak member at the Muzhupillangad Panchayat crematorium, near Muzhupilangad Beach, in Kannur district of the state on April 1. Police said the bombs were recovered from the tomb of M. Sooraj, an RSS activist who was allegedly killed by CPI (M) activists on August 7, 2005. Kerala police have arrested T.J. Joseph, a college professor for preparing a question paper that had inflammatory references to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be to him). A fresh case has been filed against the self-styled godman Nityananda in the United States for sexually exploiting and duping the devotees.
