“Today the major problem with Muslims is the negative image of Islam as violent and aggressor, portrayed by Zionist and European media. But in Islam to kill an innocent person without any reason is tantamount to killing of entire humanity. Islam means peace, harmony and reconciliation,” said the Chairman of Britain World Islamic Forum, Dr Muhammad Isa Mansoori while delivering a speech in a daylong conference on “Problems and Difficulties to Human Beings and Their Solutions in the Light of Prophet’s Life” organised at Jamia Umme Salma, Dhanbad, on February 20, 2011.
Dr Muhammad Isa Mansoori and Dr Sarfaraz Ahmad discussed the issues and problems the humanity is confronting in today’s modern world. They also presented its solution in the light of the holy life of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be to him) and the teachings of the Qur’ān. Dr Muhammad Isa Mansoori said the Muslims are lagging in education and it is the second major problem of the community. Every type of sacrifice is required for the educational advancement of the community. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be to him) made education necessary and free education for everyone without discrimination of caste and class. But today in Europe the door of higher education is closed for Muslims. The third issue with American and European universities is that they educate people for the welfare of humanity. Europe during the one thousand years of history always killed human beings. They captured all resources of the world without sharing them with others and enslaved many nations; even today Europe is cultivating brutality in many countries. Iraq and Afghanistan are the living examples of their brutality. He said that it is need of hour that we should follow Islam and we should spread Islamic teachings among the public for the betterment of humanity.
