CENTRE TURNING A BLIND EYE TO MUSLIM ISSUES
 

The President of United Muslim of India, Maulana Burhan Ahmad Qasmi, in a meeting, alleged that the UPA government is turning a blind eye to the issues that concern the Muslims of India. Maulana Qasmi said the government has not yet acted upon the recommendations made by the Sachar Committee and the Rangnath Mishra Commission, although the government itself had made these bodies. GOA MUSLIMS DEMANDING GRAVEYARD FOR 20 YEARS
 

For the past 20 years Muslims of Goa have been demanding a place for graveyard (Qabristan), but still the land for the graveyard is out of sight. Mullah Saleem, a social activist, has been running from pillar to post, visiting offices of high officials ranging from governor to Prime Minister, but all in vain.
