Guilt of Investigating Agencies

RAM PUNIYANIblames biases in the minds of investigating authorities for ruining the lives of innocent Muslim youth, suggests that there is a lot with the Government to change the erroneous trend, and argues for compensation (to be recovered from erring police officers), rehabilitation programme, scholarship, and other assistances to rebuild the life of the innocent sufferers.
 

Nine youth accused in Malegaon blast case of 2006 have been granted bail by the MCOCA court (Nov 5, 2011). These Muslim youth were arrested after the bomb exploded on the Shab-e-Barat, killing several people. Immediately after that the Anti Terrorist Squad arrested nine Muslim youth; there was really no evidence worth its name against them. You cannot turn the clock back

The Sardarpura massacre verdict sends a strong message that you cannot break the will of the Muslim minority to live in India and die in India, concludes DR. S. AUSAF SAIED VASFI.
 

Although the leadership of the 190-million strong Muslim minority of the over-a-billion strong plural Bharat does not agree with it on several counts, the Sep 9 verdict of the fast track Special Court, adjudicating a 2002 post-Godhra riot case is significant as it convicted 31 people for the torching alive of 33 Muslims in Sardarpura in North Gujarat and sentenced them to life imprisonment.
