It is the Diabolic Plan, Once Again

It is almost a decade since the country witnessed a paradigm shift in the Hindutva strategy to marginalise the Muslim minority from creating communal riots to contriving terror blasts in the guise of Muslims. To the anti-Islam forces communal violence had by then become over half-a-century old strategy; hence the diabolic shift. It first came to limelight with the discovery of skull caps, fake beards, Muslim-looking khan dress and a diary during search of a Bajrang Dal activist’s house in Nanded where on Apr 6, 2006 bombs had exploded during preparation and claimed two lives turning the perpetrators into victims of their own doing. Earlier also such bomb blasts had exploded in Purna, Parbhani and Jalna but then this strategy could not be revealed. The Hindutva terrorist strategy was: explode bombs donning the guise of a Muslim so that if captured or killed, the world would believe that the crime was perpetrated by none other than Muslims.

This diabolic plan was repeated at various other places, including Malegaon and Hyderabad, and is still in vogue. The Apr 27 arrest of four members of the majority community – Nagaraj, Kiran Kumar, Ramesh and Dayanand Singh – proves this. They were arrested for allegedly planting cow leg pieces and also sprinkling green colour on the premises of a temple at Kurmaguda in Hyderabad on the intervening night of Apr 7-8. And, Srinivas and Niranjan, who in fact had hatched the conspiracy, are absconding. Even as the curfew was in force, similar incidents were reported where pieces of meat were found lying on the premises of places of worship in Kachiguda and Moghalpura areas of the city as well. All this was to throw blame on Muslims.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA), during its probe into saffron terror cases, has found evidence that blasts in Purna, Parbhani, Jalna and Nanded between 2003 and 2006 are all connected with the perpetrators of Malegaon blasts. The NIA found that Himanshu Panse, Sanjay Chaudhari and several of their associates, all accused in this series of blasts, were actually trained by Sunil Joshi’s group that allegedly executed the Malegaon, Samjhauta Express, Ajmer Sharif and Mecca Masjid blasts. This, we believe, was part of the same large conspiracy, under which Sunil Joshi, the mastermind of these blasts, was mysteriously done to death allegedly by some of the Saffron fellow perpetrators. This is high time the reality was brought to light, the real perpetrators of the crime were brought to book, and innocent Muslims who had been thrown behind the bars for no fault of theirs, were released with the honour they deserve.
