Jamaat launches relief work in Malegaon

After the serial blasts hit Malegaon on September 8, when everybody was stuck-up and stunned by the incident, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Malegaon unit workers started the relief work. A voluntary team was set up by the Jamaat to look after the instant relief work. Jamaat’s Maharashtra zone also sent a delegation led by the state secretary.

Malegaon Jamaat has asked central, state and district administration to provide necessary relief for the victims and the injured.

The Jamaat demanded from the government fair and early investigation; so that the real culprits may be brought to book as early as possible. The Jamaat appealed to the people of Malegaon to maintain peace and harmony. Demands of humanity and fraternity should not be forgotten in this difficult hour said the Jamaat.

Malegaon Jamaat handed over a memorandum to Deputy Collector and police officers of Malegaon. Its members met the doctors and inquired about the conditions of the injured. They also met the families of victims, consoled them, and provided them with necessary monetary help.
