It's surprising

Readers Pulse

The recent statement of Modi that Mrs Indira Gandhi wasn’t secular is surprising when he himself doesn’t understand its real meaning. Although it is a different story that Mrs. Gandhi too was seen misusing power for her political ends yet Modi’s hurling allegation over the past leaders will certainly not better his image of a mass murderer and high-end conspirator of Gujarat genocide. So it’s better if Modi stops talking about the past. The fact is if we get leaders like Modi ruling over the country, the basic elements like Democracy and Secularism would simply disappear. He should first speak on the fake encounters carried out in Gujarat along with state-sponsored riots.
