Dr. Shahat Al-Barsi, member of Parliament for the Freedom and Justice Party in Aswan, Egypt denounced criminal acts committed against Muslims in Burma. He stressed that such acts are part of a series of brutal persecution of minorities in various countries of the world.
Barsi added that the absence of human rights organisations is a major contributor to the continuation of these massacres against the people of Myanmar (Burma). He pointed that animal rights organisations around the world are more interested in rescuing animals than human rights organisations are concerned about human massacres.
Nevertheless, Barsi appealed to all human rights organisations and governments around the world to save all minorities of all different faiths. He stressed the need for international organisations to move, on the ground, to aid the people of Burma and to stand by them in this difficult ordeal.
Thousands of Muslims have been killed and displaced in the violence taking place against Burma’s Muslims.
