“Imaan (faith in Allah) has the power with which man can win the world,” said Dr. Kishwar Sultana (Assistant Professor of English at Kaladera Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya), at the programme organised by Girls Islamic Organisation (GIO), Rajasthan, at National Ayurvedic Institution, Jaipur, to felicitate Muslim girl students. She urged the parents to motivate the girls to excel in all fields and called upon girls to learn time management for better utilisation of time. State Secretary GIO, Ubaida Iqbal said, Islam does not differentiate education on religious or worldly grounds, rather it differentiates it on the basis of beneficial or non-beneficial. The knowledge which is beneficial for the whole humanity is religious as per Islam. She further commented that these days parents are pushing their children towards “carrierism” where they can earn hefty packages and nothing else. Among those felicitated include, Ayesha Badr, Zeenat Akhtar, Shez Ali Taqvi, Darakhshan Aslam, Swaliha Bi and Minhaj Khan.
