A Fitting Reply to Rumour Mongers

Father of Green Revolution in India and well known Agriculture Scientist of the country Dr. MS Swaminathan has appealed  to Union Railway Minister Mukul Roy to arrange free rail travel for the people of the northeast from Guwahati and other places back to their work in Karnataka, Tamilnadu and other places.

The employers fully know that people of these areas are honest, hardworking and loyal to the work. Along with free railway pass, employers should be requested and urged to write and personally talk to them over phone and mobile to return and come up with large size advertisement and appeal in Assamese and other national electronic and print media.

NGOs and State Governments can also play a positive role in this humanitarian crisis and prove to the country and the world that our country is unique and it equally belongs to all communities, regions with diversities and we are all Indians and human beings. Kudos to Dr. Swaminathan for his pragmatic solution to the crisis. It is a fitting reply to the rumour mongers and those who want our country to be divided and demoralised so that it does not emerge as a global power.
