Report

By OUR CORRESPONDENT

Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Rajasthan Zone, has launched a state-wide campaign from 13 January to 1 February to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be to him) by highlighting his life as a role model for one and all.  The campaign was launched at Musafirkhana in Jaipur on 13 January.

Engineer Khursheed Hussain, Ameer JIH Rajasthan, while inaugurating the month long campaign, said that the Prophet was the role model not only for Muslims but for the entire mankind. He further expressed that more than 1400 years ago a great human being was born in Arab who made the ignorant people aware of the Almighty. While referring to the Qur’ān, he said that Allah sent Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be to him) as role model for entire human beings.

Dr Mohammad Iqbal, convener of this campaign, while speaking on the philosophy and guidance of the Prophet in day-to-day and worldly affairs, said that Prophet Muhammad gave the principle of one world, and universal human beings with their defined duty and accountabilities. He also said that after death human beings will be awarded or punished on the basis of their deeds. He urged the people to propagate the teachings of the Prophet everywhere and among all human beings.

Speaking on the occasion, Waquar Ahamd, JIH State Secretary, said that every human being who has full faith in the Prophet has to obey and love him even more than his life and above all human beings. While expressing the deep love and affection the Companions had for the Prophet, he said their true gratitude, respect and love can be exemplified by the fact that they used to get hold of the drop of water which came down from his face while making ablution and used to rub it on their face as a mark of true respect. He said that in order to pay due respect it is a must to follow and practise his teachings and guidance.

Mohammad Imran, state media secretary, while highlighting economic aspect of the Prophet’s teachings, said that economy based on interest becomes a tool of exploiting humans where the rich become richer and the poor poorer. Ishrat Hayat, state convener of JIH, while elaborating the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be to him), said his life was an ideal for an individual as well as for a family or society.

Abrar Ahmed of JIH talked on the obscenity and nudity in the present scenario and called on the people to follow the teachings of the Prophet to lead a pious life.

Mohammad Azam of SIO said that the Prophet was the teacher of the entire mankind. Ubaida Iqbal of Girls Islamic Organisation while speaking on the backwardness of Muslims urged the people to emulate the thought and teachings of our Prophet and at the same time excel in the field of education because in our religion education is mandatory and therefore it becomes the duty of each and every Muslim to get education in order to improve the quality of life. On this occasion Iram Iqbal recited a naat. This Inaugural Programme of the campaign was coordinated by Firoz Alam.
