DOCTOR HELD FOR SELLING DRUGS TO STUDENTS

The police, on 31 January, arrested an unlicensed doctor from Sundar Pur village under Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. He was selling drugs and injections to school children. The police recovered 340 drugs and 50 injections from the spot.

In a similar case, a truck, on 29 January, was raided in Betia district of Bihar only to recover heavy amounts of intoxicants worth Rs. 8 crore. The intoxicants were being smuggled to Nepal in the truck fully loaded with sands and the intoxicants were hidden inside the heap of sand.
