NO ENTRY FOR ‘POLLUTED’ MODI IN ‘SACRED’ KUMBH: SADHUS

Inside India

The Sadhus of Kumbh, on 4 February, became annoyed on the news of Modi’s visit to the place and said the ‘polluted’ Modi would not be given entry at the ‘sacred’ place of Kumbh. Adhukasha Nand Maharaj, Shankracharya of Jgannath Puri Peeth, said the Kumbh is meant for Puja Hawana and not for the political jiggery-pokery. The killer Modi would not be permitted to enter the sacred place at any cost. A meeting of RSS and BJP was also scheduled there to discuss the issues like Ram Mandir and the next Prime Ministerial candidate for BJP. Modi was scheduled to travel to Allahabad on 12 February. But he called off his plan on 9 February citing “security reasons”.
