JUDGES HEARING TERROR CASES BEING TRANSFERRED

Inside India

Judges hearing the cases of different bomb blasts are learnt to have been transferred at a regular interval of time hence causing interruption and disturbance of the cases. With the recent transfer of Justice SD Kulkarni on 12 June, the number of transferred judges in the case climbed to six in four years and a half. Kulkarni was hearing the cases of serial blast in Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Delhi in 2008. “This is murder of justice and if the things continue this way, it will take at least 20 years for the case to be disposed of, and the youths who are hoping for justice won’t be able to walk on their feet when they get justice,” said the father of an accused whose hearing was interrupted due the transfer of the judge.
