Dr. Haneef's Release

Readers Pulse

The Indian doctor is now out of prison and all charges against him have been dropped. The turnaround came after glaring inconsistencies in the doctor’s case were investigated and it was found that the evidence against him was indeed very flimsy. Sadly, much damage has been caused to Haneef, his family and the entire community and to the psyche of the society. How would this be brought back the way it was earlier? Was it the right way to deal with a terror “suspect”? It was either done with an intention to cause the damage or it was done with sheer biased attitude, carelessness and paranoia.
