The Special issue (Radiance, October 14-20, 2007) on “Justice and the World Today” makes a wonderful reading. However it is useless to expect justice from the institutions created by human beings in today’s world. Knowledge explosion has made all kinds of exploitation possible and even acceptable. Justice should then come from divinity only. Downfall awaits all kinds of exploiters. To speed up this process waging a ‘jihad’ is essential. Terrorism is merely an unorganised outburst which is easily suppressed by the exploiters. The real ‘jihad’ should be similar to the one launched by the scientists in Europe after the crusades, when the scientists fought against falsehoods and misconceptions destabilised the exploiters over generations.  K.
