LIBERHAN COMMISSION GETS 44TH EXTENSION
 
The Liberhan Commission, probing the demolition of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya in 1992, has got yet another extension. The CBI said Rizwanur Rehman had committed suicide. INDIA DISMAYED AT GAZA VIOLENCE
 
India is dismayed at the continuing violence in occupied Palestine, particularly in the Gaza Strip. “Events this week, including the disproportionate use of retaliatory force, have led to avoidable civilian casualties, including the death of innocent children. This is unacceptable,” said a statement by the official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs.
