Attack on Secularism

Readers Pulse

Mr. Advani’s comment, which referred to the Budget as ‘communal’, smacks of his worthless statesmanship. Smallest of welfare measures towards the minorities blows his temper out of proportion. I won’t be shocked if some day he calls the preservation efforts of Mughal monuments also communal. Would somebody ask him: what was his party’s alleged involvement in UP hate-campaign CD meant for? Being a PM candidate of the party, he is expected at least to comment sensibly.
