Very Painful, Indeed

It is very painful to find cops involved, in one way or the other, in every major dreadful and ghastly event that takes place in the country. The matter does not end here. On the contrary they often mastermind such acts. The Nithari incident is a case in point. Of late episode of horrific kidney transplant racket is no exemption of this sort of event. No doubt, the deterioration that has set in the police department is quite pathetic. They are supposed to be the protectors and saviours of people but appear to be a frightening organisation.

It is true that unless they exhibit honesty, integrity, incorruptibility, transparency, purity and rectitude of conduct, the law and order in the country will not improve.

It is time they mended their lifestyle and character and created sense of sincerity and dedication for the sake of the country. Besides they should come forward to strengthen measures for the eradication of corruption so rampant in their ranks.
